Owner of SGS, Jason’s background includes cadets, military reservist, and law enforcement service. He embodies the stakeholders SGS serves. A former drum major of the Calgary Police Service Pipe Band, Jason has played a role in military tattoos, colour consecrations, and anniversary parades. Jason has helped to hone a sharp professional image for several organizations through metal & textile projects.
Owner of SGS, Susan comes from aviation and non-profit management history. She is responsible for project oversight and assignment. A professionally trained graphic designer, Susan’s focus is on metal art plaque production, sport awards and legacy projects. Susan has a breadth of experience and has a close eye on fine detail.
Kent’s career in the Canadian Forces began when he joined The Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada in 1976 as a private soldier. As a Chief Warrant Officer (CWO), Kent held a number of appointments with the Calgary Highlanders 41 Brigade Group, and The Algonquin Regiment. Additionally, Kent served as the Army Reserve Sergeant Major, and Regimental Major for the Calgary Highlanders. Kent’s areas of focus are medals, accoutrements, and challenge coins.
A veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), Irene’s background includes 30+ years in business and technology management. Recently retired as Chief Data Officer with the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), Irene brings a depth of experience in strategic planning and collaboration for complex projects. In addition to her professional background, Irene is an enthusiastic alumnus of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets as well as a gifted pipe band musician.
